The core activities consist of wholesale of solar panels, inverters, mounting systems and batteries. We offer extensive service to our customers (installation companies) that are predominantly active in the residential and commercial market in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. In my role of CFO and board member I oversee the Finance, IT, HR and legal operations.

In addition to leading the finance activities I am responsible for Supply Chain management (12FTE). With the mission to become the preferred PPE supplier by delivering the best customer journey and promise each day. Fulfill customer needs and support sustainable growth of the business with excellent service levels in combination with optimizing our PPE stock in Europe ensuring a healthy working capital position. Completed the (legal) integration of 3 operating countries and create a Business unit to support the strategy to grow PPE in 20 EU countries within Lyreco group

Lead all finance related activities such as accounting, reporting and business information, but also legal and quality for the Intersafe entities in the Netherlands, France and Belgium (team of 21Fte's). Aside from the day to day business I am part of the Executive Team and play a key role in the development of strategy. I am involved in critical projects and make sure that I safeguard the company’s position by monitoring performance, treasury and compliance. Achievement: Great improvement in company results by price management and OPEX reduction through centralization and digitalization. Successfully implemented several working capital improvement projects.

Responsible for the Business control and information activities of the group. Manage a team of 6 professionals (2 controllers and 4 reporting analysts). Focus on Finance as a business partner to drive improved performance whilst maintaining strong controls and efficient processes.

Responsible for the following operating units: Nordics, France, Austria&Switzerland and Eastern Europe (revenue 1 billion). Main activities: Review financial performance, being a business partner preparing management information, reviewing capital expenditures above 1 million, coordinating the planning and control cycle and important strategic projects such as outsourcing, cost optimization and working capital improvements projects.

Responsible for analyzing and assessing the business, formulating the strategic and tactical goals, advice and challenge senior- management (MT member), preparing and reviewing budget and forecasts, assess the capital expenditures and optimize the planning and control processes. Projects that I have supervised are centralization and transition of transactional activities to a shared service centre, optimize organization structure of a division and setting up of vendor policy that resulted in strong revenue and EBIT growth.

In this role I was supporting the business on financial related subjects. Responsibilities included:- Composing and analysing budget and forecast moments- Monitoring costs&revenue and signal efficiency possibilities.- Assure timely and accurate reporting and planning (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually)- Advise and challenge management (i.e. in business performance meetings)- Review capital expenditures

My work as financial advisor at the provincie Zuid-Holland was in combination with a two-year financial traineeship. I was responsible for financial advisory related to the primary process. My work included coordination of internal audits, preparation of planning & control products, financial analysis, monitoring budget, signalling trends and discussing the primary business with management.
