I am Senior Director of Research Operations and Therapeutic Innovation at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR). OICR is a collaborative, not-for-profit research institute focused on accelerating the translation of new cancer research discoveries to patients around the world while maximizing the economic benefit of this research for the people of Ontario. With a strong foundation in the biological & health sciences, and governance processes, I excel at driving discussions from strategic, scientific and operational points of view and can then efficiently and seamlessly execute holistic research plans.Specifically, my expertise includes strategy development, operations, project and portfolio management, business development, and staff development. I am also a six sigma black belt with three years' experience identifying long-lasting solutions to recurring issues.Prior to joining OICR, I had a 17 year-career spanning preclinical and clinical research, six sigma, and R&D operations, I have had significant impact implementing research strategies across multiple therapeutic areas and functional disciplines that increase the value of the portfolio.My values are unwavering and my goals are clear.
