MUFG Union Bank is a member of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), one of the world’s largest financial organizations with total assets of approximately $2.3 trillion. -- Responsible for corporate banking regulations, including Dodd Frank, BHCA, Reg W, and Reg YY, affiliate transactions and holding company planning and implementation.-- Advise the business on a variety of matters relevant to a multi-national organization, including vendor contracts, inter-company agreements, governance, regulatory matters and transfer pricing.-- Draft correspondence and submissions, and interact with staff members; Assist with internal and regulatory audits; Participate in periodic compliance training.

• Lead complex transactions such as ISP and ASP outsource agreements, SaaS, cloud, data, and technology licenses (inbound and outbound), co-location agreements, media, content, internet advertising, lead generation, sponsorships, talent and production agreements• Launch innovative enterprise and consumer products globally, including interactive learning and educational delivery platforms and content, mobile/tablet device applications• Advise concerning various compliance matters and litigation involving consumer protection, privacy, anti-trust, education and other applicable federal and state regulatory regimes• Draft and implement corporate and IP policies, including confidential information and trademark policies and compliance programs• Energetically support global sales, marketing, product development, innovation, and operations for four billion dollar+ business

Responsible for advising management regarding a variety of regulatory, compliance, operational, and transactional issues arising under federal and state laws governing credit card lending, consumer product marketing, data usage (including credit reporting, fair lending, consumer privacy and data security issues), joint marketing arrangements, debt collection, asset purchases and sales, electronic transactions, examination and enforcement, and enterprise risk management. Duties also include defending the company in litigation arising under the Truth in Lending Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and state unfair and deceptive acts and practices statutes.
