Joined Minster Law’s senior leadership team from Irwin Mitchell as part of Minster’s purchase of Irwin Mitchell’s Fast Track Volume personal injury business, following Irwin Mitchell’s strategic decision to withdraw from that market in 2021.Continued senior operational leadership of a high volume, Fast Track Personal Injury business, derived from large scale partnerships with the insurance industry.Also led a Personal Legal Services division, including a strategic review of that division and implementation of recommendations agreed by Board.• Leading, motivating and providing strategic direction to a high volume legal services department.• Developing and delivering forecasts, budgets and strategic initiatives.• High level ownership of income and performance delivery.• Rescaling and/or opening/closing/running off operational product lines.• Delivering and maintaining a robust management information data infrastructure to ensure that optimum key performance indicators are both visible and managed to enable the delivery of high performance.• Identification and implementation of operational/system/process/productivity/infrastructure efficiencies to deliver performance improvement and profitability improvement goals.• External business partner relationship management & business development.• Manage and mitigate operational risk in a high risk, highly regulated environment.• New business tenders/proposals/pitches.• Subject matter expert, leading competency of workforce and strategies to optimise speed to competency and mitigate claims handling risk as well as developing talent.• Structuring/re-structuring departments for optimum performance and high quality service delivery.• Delivery of service excellence to customers and business partners.

Enjoyed 25 years’ rapid progression within this full service law firm; from initial roles in claims handling and team management before gaining promotion to Partner in 2005 following selection for Irwin Mitchell’s “Lead Partner Development” programme in recognition of performance excellence and leadership potential.
