Windows server admin who automated routine processes with PowerShell, performed day-to-day administration on a small team for >7000 Windows machines, managed software and OS patching compliance with MECM, and led efforts to establish hardware specification and security compliance baselines.I performed initial design, development, and prototype fielding of new software systems.Additionally, I participated on a change management board and vetted process and implementation proposals for other administrators.Finally, I performed server migrations and retirements. I was responsible for negotiating the consolidation of servers, such as license servers, onto new machines running Windows Server 2022. For systems that could not be upgraded due to software limitations, I utilized Illumio firewalls to isolate systems that were end of life.

I was primarily the Enterprise Print Services Manager for 12 Air Force Bases within the Air Force Reserve Command, tasked with the design and implementation of a central secure printing and direct print system. This system used three regional servers to service 4 bases each. All of them were interlinked for redundancy and centralization of a database for detailed analysis of printing across the command.Eventually, I was approached by the Air Force to design and develop a system for supplying secure print from a central location for the entire Air Force. This was based on a dynamically sized virtual machine in the cloud that had a theoretical capacity for this function. I was unable to complete this project before moving on to another career.In addition to this, I supported the storage team with various tasks, and continued work on the virtual desktop infrastructure. I also managed a local MECM instance for our SIPRNet domain.Finally, I developed hardware specifications and managed golden images for a USAF virtual desktop infrastructure. On this same program, I developed the local processes for setting up application profiles within this system with the VMWare App Volumes Manager.

I worked on an all-in-one domain solution that had the purpose of deploying to austere environments. This included everything from the bare metal hardware to the individual servers, to laptops and other network connected devices. I also participated in a working group that designed and fielded a new small communications package that had the same theoretical performance as the aging systems that were more than ten times its size and weight.Additionally, I was a supervisor for 3 airmen and performed yearly performance reviews.
