In 1993 I had the opportunity to care for "Maurie," an elderly gentleman living with Parkinson's disease. Little did I know, this man would change my life and the life of others who cared for him. After three years of caring for this gentleman in his own home, his family suggested that I share my "gift of caring" with other families in Madison. The gift and vision became Midwest Home Care,LLC in 1996, a compassionate provider and leader of care to older adults and their family members.Today there are numerous homecare companies with aggressive advertising and marketing campaigns. Midwest Home Care, LLC is not a franchise, but was proudly "homegrown" with the help of family, professional caregivers, committed clients and others in the community.
