A graduate of the University of Nebraska Lincoln, Robert Fowler’s early professional experience involved design of multi-family residential and banking facilities in the Atlanta area. With his architectural registration in 1976, he joined the firm of Tipton Masterson Associates. He is currently CEO of the firm, now known as Fowler Design Associates, Inc., providing Architecture, Interior Design, and Land Planning services throughout the U.S. He has established long-standing collaborative relationships with major corporations, developers and community groups, providing innovative thought, creative design and valuable solutions for balanced healthy communities and workplaces. Bob holds architectural registrations in states throughout the Southeast. He has been personally responsible for the architectural design of tens of millions of square feet of office, industrial, retail, hotels, higher educational and community facilities. He has been involved in master site planning of numerous office and business parks and mixed-use communities. Additional contributions to the community and the profession include service as Treasurer of Congress for the New Urbanism—Atlanta, Secretary of the Board of FCS Urban Ministries, the Elder board of Christ Church Presbyterian. He and his wife of over forty-two years make their home in the Atlanta area. They have an adult son and daughter, and three grandchildren. Bob considers it his purpose to develop thoughtful vision for healthy, transformative communities and to engage with others in achieving them.
