About Robert Whyzel

I have been the CEO of Weizel Security since 1987, a company that specializes in suicide resistance products and services for secure environments. With my CPA, CMA credentials and over 36 years of experience in strategic and operational management, I lead a team of experts who provide solutions for architects, contractors, and facility managers in the corrections, military, and behavioral health sectors.My mission is to enhance the safety of staff, patients, and prisoners by creating and delivering products that prevent self-harm and suicide. Under my leadership, Weizel Security has grown from a supplier of prison lock systems and hardware to a leader in the suicide resistance industry, with over 100 products under our SafeSupport and SR brands. We have completed projects for over 4100 hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, prisons and long term care facilities throughout North America. I also ensure that we have a flexible and responsive business model that allows us to design and produce customized products as per our clients' needs.
