I'm an experimental physicist with extensive experience in optics, laser and RF spectroscopy, and cold-atom and ion-trapping experiments. During my PhD studies, I researched the dynamics and correlations of a Bose-Einstein Condensate, using ultracold atoms to probe the quantum mechanics underlying superfluidity. After that I ventured into the environmental sciences and built a laser-based instrument to measure trace gases in the atmosphere. My current interests focus on understanding the processes occurring in the interstellar medium, performing measurements on trapped cold molecular ions.
