About Robert Wintersteen
Growing up as a military brat (my father was in the Air Force), I can confidently say that when I claim to be from Colorado, I only mean I attended High School there. I was born in South Dakota, I lived in 5 different states (SD, AL, TX, CO, NY) by the time I graduated college, and I loved meeting new people and making friends along the way. While in the Army, I was fortunate enough to travel to 18 different countries, from Austria (banner photo above) and France to the Republic of Georgia and Lithuania, allowing me a unique opportunity to learn about many cultures other than my own. I have always placed an emphasis on getting to know others and understanding where they come from. Some of the most important traits I have acquired and developed from my military experiences are problem solving skills and the ability to communicate well, boosting my confidence and ability to lead teams. You will find me as a part of a team on my current project, taking part in local Wisconsin events, and obsessing over my 2 year old daughter.
