I identify as a combination of artist, scientist, and craftsman with an ever-changing fraction on any given day that may exceed 100%. "Author" combines everything; there are pearls of wisdom from culinary school that apply to information technology management and cybersecurity experiences applicable to kitchens. I've published three books, and a fourth may be coming soon!I am proud to serve in the USCG Auxiliary!My life has few constants. Change has been a calling to the extent that I once made a very successful living as a change agent! Formula? Motivation? Logical approaches are usually easy until emotional mayhem sets in.I’ve earned an engineering degree, a culinary degree, and an MBA, along with an alphabet soup of two, three, four, and five-letter initials. PMP, CISA, CISSP, ISSAP, ISSMP, CCSP, CSM, CSPO, and ITIL Expert are the most relevant ones, along with ISO Lead Auditor 9001/20000-1/27001 and several ITSM applications, including Service NOW. I am also a licensed Engineering Intern in the State of Florida.I admit to a love-hate relationship with technology. In my career, I constantly ask why? and improve processes; businesses need to be agile, and being stuck in paradigms adversely impacts success and profits. In life, I have a choice, and mixed within my change are decades-old preferences – once in a while, I am accused of being a creature of habit.
