My role as a Senior Project Manager has been to lead complex multi-regional projects for a large Telecommunications customer. This has involved all aspects of the project lifecycle and communication throughout the customer organisation. I have been called on to take over failing projects, improving project delivery and communication leading to successful delivery of a critical SiteMinder upgrade. This required me to quickly get up to speed with the project status as well as developing an understanding of the technical aspects of the solution before presenting to customer senior management.As a Senior Project Manager I have also been responsible for providing guidance and coaching to junior members of the team to ensure individual delivery is in line with the customers’ expectations.

I was responsible for the day-to-day management of the L3 problem management team supporting a flagship public sector application. This included co-ordinating development, testing and scheduling activities across problem fixes with the customer and application development team. I was responsible for resource levelling, financial and performance reporting and planning of future work to meet tight deadlines. I worked closely with various elements of the customer organisation and HP management to ensure that work was prioritised based on impact to the business. As part of this role I was also responsible for service improvement and team development activities both for my specific team as well as the Problem Management delivery as a whole.

I was responsible for delivering the EMEA components of a Global SAP upgrade project. This included co-ordinating development, testing and scheduling activities across a number of HP teams and ensuring all work was carried to allow this critical project to complete as planned. I worked closely with various elements of the customer organisation and the HP/Procter & Gamble account to ensure that there was no negative impact to the move to the new landscape. I also liaised with the global Change Management team to ensure successful project handover to the support organisation.

Global delivery lead responsible for planning, tracking and execution of all SAP Maintenance Release (Service Pack and Enhancement Pack) projects in the P&G SAP Landscape. Lead remote teams for implementation, support and production cut-over as well as being the subject matter expert facing the customer. I was responsible for defining and delivering improvement plans throughout the project delivery teams.

I joined Procter & Gamble as part of a newly insourced SAP Competency Centre for the EMEA region, providing technical support for SAP R/2 and R/3 to expert users and local site helpdesks as well as Project Management delivery of SAP implementations.After 3 years, I moved into the UK Customer Services team as a support specialist and project manager. I was responsible for support of the UK Accounts Receivable and Invoicing systems as well as project manager on the upgrade of the AR application. I was also the Project Manager on the integration of a new acquisition in to the P&G landscape.
