My skills range across the IT spectrum. Prior roles in management, software development, and infrastructure have developed strong technical skills and leadership abilities. I excel at leading IT initiatives across teams in the following ways: 1) Provide Great Customer Service and Teamwork Experiences. IT exists as a service to our customers. To provide excellent service I provide great communication and coordination to all levels of the organization, to customers and team members. I understand the customer needs, and leverage experience to fine tune for excellent results! I truly enjoy working with others and helping them grow and succeed, and believe that their success is a key indicator of my success. Mentoring is a key aspect of leadership. 2) Business Strategy and Analysis – Understanding and communicating the bigger picture, the “why”, enables both short term and long term organizational success. No longer can teams stop at simply doing what we are told, but instead must understand why in order to enable the best upstream and downstream alignment and overall solution quality.3) Enterprise Architecture and Technical Knowledge – Success in IT is not only measured by how well we support business strategic direction, but also by how we drive down costs and enable teams to provide excellent support of the overall IT solution landscape. Understanding a macro plan and driving that alignment through work efforts means I must understand and drive both the macro and micro level details associated with customer needs. 4) Managing through facts and data – Leaders must provide and utilize tools which enable reporting of KPI data that provide indicators as to overall success. However, bad data also threatens our ability to successfully lead. My ability to track and dig into details and discern the real threats is key to our mutual success.
