MDE position is a jack-of-all trades IT position supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) at PMRF located on the island of Kauai. The position comprises all things supported by the IT department from keyboards and mice, printers, phones (mobile/VOIP), switches and routers and everything in between with a little COMSEC thrown in for good measure. Support is provided for the permanent party MDA at PMRF and 300+ TDY personnel during flight tests and mission conducted by the MDA at PMRF.

● Architected and implemented moving public facing web servers into a DMZ behind an F5 appliance. Developed iRules and configured the Access Policy Manager (APM), Single Sign On (SSO) and Access Security Manager (ASM) within the F5 to protect web servers within the DMZ.● Developed custom solution within the Forefront Identity Manager (FIM 2010) that synchronized the personnel management system with Active Directory. Created and maintained GAL Synchronization between CENTCOM, Pentagon and CENTCOM Components.● Converted CENTCOM’s Master Personnel System (MPS) from a VB6 desktop application to a large web application with no down time. ● Maintained 30 web servers across multiple networks. Ensured web servers and websites conformed to DISA’s Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).● Developed and maintained 80+ web applications over multiple networks.● Performed code reviews and mentored junior developers.

Deployed to Baghdad, Iraq in support of MNF-I CJ2 Intelligence Directorate. Lead a team of five Web/SharePoint developers, two SharePoint administrators, one database administrator and one graphic designer. Designed and developed interface and database for several intricate websites that allowed for the collection of information from users throughout the Iraq Theater of Operations. Mentored junior level developers.

Continued support of United Sates Central Command after government contract change with prior employer. Act as the lead programmer of a team of 12 web programmers. Designed and developed the Commands initial MIIS server. Created large scale web applications with multiple user privileges and user locations. Developed and modified complex stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server.

Performs software engineering support in the design, implementation and life cycle support of intranet, coalition and internet web applications as a member of a web development team. Evaluates assigned application requirements and provides recommendations to meet immediate and future requirements. Evaluates database and web design requirements, coordinates with customers to define and refine requirements, executes interface development, and deploys products in accordance with web development team priorities. Develops Active Server Page (ASP), VBScript, and JavaScript applications for internet and intranet environments and coordinates with database developers and administrators as required for database systems support.

Contributed programming and design expertise to over forty websites. Designed and implemented dynamic websites with ODBC connections to SQL allowing website owner complete control over website content. Created backend monitors and automatic email robots in Visual Basic. Customized News scroller and billboard applets. Served as DBA for SQL 7.0. Co-administered local LAN, web servers running IIS 4.0, Domain Name Servers, Exchange Server, IMail Server and Webtrends.
