Making it easy to capture and analyze API calls, using a security data lake based on Trino and Iceberg, focusing on first-party deployments where customers truly own their data. Led project from the first prototype to seed funding to asset sale to Graylog.

Helped bring Intel's persistent memory technologies to new domains and developers. Technical lead for pmemkv, a key-value datastore optimized for persistent memory. Introduced persistent memory to developer audiences at O'Reilly and Intel conferences. Division Recognition Award winner in 2018.

Led combination of multiple end-user products into a converged product line, acting as product owner in our agile process. Managed contributors in Boulder, San Diego, Toronto, and Zhuhai. Led adaptation of existing technology base for AWS/Puppet deployments. Presented at conferences (Velocity, Gluecon) and internal customer events. One of twelve 'Distinguished Engineer' finalists in 2015. Co-authored two patents.

 all end-user hits, sessions, and transactions that occur on a customer’s website. 
 Designed and implemented a proprietary NoSQL database using a genetic algorithm to optimize on-disk storage and compression. Worked closely with sales and customers to define requirements and roadmap of quick incremental releases. Success with early customers led to Xaffire’s sale to Quest Software.

Led 5-person web team. Introduced agile and feature team processes in support of ISO 9000 certification goals. Migrated technology platform for corporate website and e-commerce to J2EE.

Technical lead for an advanced Java application server optimized for highly parallel workflows. Authored XML descriptor language specification inspired by MoML (UC Berkeley) and ABCL (MIT) projects. Implemented XML compiler and server reference implementations in Java and CORBA.

Led turnaround of web service for online ergonomics training and risk reporting, including new go-to-market strategy, corporate website, XSLT-based CMS, backend database and enterprise reports.
