Throughout my life and early professional career, I have developed a passion for designing, building, and problem solving automotive systems. Time spent in school and work has taught me how to learn, ask questions, and arrive at the best possible solutions. I worked at General Motors where I got exposed to the corporate and professional culture that is vital to a engineer's ability to develop communication and leadership skills. I spent time with experts in the field absorbing knowledge about gas engine powertrains and their associated calibration systems. As a product of my individual drive and ambition, I went beyond my required duties as a Calibration Verification Engineer and expanded my knowledge with programs such as INCA, data acquisition programs, and embedded macros in Microsoft Excel.I also, worked at Cummins with the On-highway diesel customer features calibration team and a Off- highway diesel Komatsu system test team, where I continued to feed my passion for discovering the best, most creative, and most cost effective solutions. My hard working desire to succeed and ability to work well with a team coupled with my individual technical abilities is a great formula to become a vital asset.I then created a automotive company (Rob's Garage) to help ordinary people get back on the road worry free. Although I enjoyed my entrepreneur career, I find I like solving technical problems more and am now back at home with Cummins, as an OBD Lead.
