Responsible for over 2000 workers at Marcus Hook ME2 project. Assisted in the development of the project safety program. Attended all initial meetings with the Project Staff and Subcontractor representatives to clearly define their role within the confines of the Project Safety Program. Conducted and documented pre-planning safety meetings with each subcontractor safety representatives and/or foremen to establish safety procedures prior to subcontractor’s activity on site. Established and conducted regular (weekly) safety meetings with subcontractor representatives and issue minutes of meeting and interface with Project Staff and each Subcontractor Safety Representatives relating to safety regulations to ensure proper compliance. Ensured that Subcontractors are conducting the proper training requirements as per the OSHA standards. Ensured and maintained a log of each subcontractor’s toolbox safety meetings held with their employees. Reviewed each Subcontractors Safety Program to ensure that it meets or exceeds the project Safety Program requirements. Ensured that each Subcontractor designated a Safety Representative that is properly trained in the OSHA standards and that person is considered by OSHA standards, competent for the Subcontractors scope of work and has the proper authority to correct safety issues and hazards relating to their safety compliance. Myself and my team conducted regular (daily) jobsite and work area inspections. Conducted formal weekly jobsite inspections and complete the safety checklist noting safety violations and corrective actions. Recorded notified and prepared written reports of any violations or unsafe practices to Subcontractors for immediate correction actions. Investigated all incidents and generated proper reports. Established and maintain all required job safety records. Conducted bi-weekly overview safety meetings with my contractors Safety Leads.

Ensured that federal, state and local laws, regulations, rules and codes are observed. Helped as well as managed OSHA recordkeeping and reporting requirements. Coordinated OSHA and HASC trainings for new and existing employees. Helped develop controls for identified hazards, coordinated the implementation of controls from result of hazard analysis. Measured and evaluated the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies, and procedures and recommended changes that reflect improved opportunities to eliminate work place accidents and injuries. Coordinated with our HSE manager on development and implementation of haz- mat procedures and policies. Planed, developed and implemented safety training for all new employee orientation and annual required programs. Identify and evaluated hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace, as well as conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices. Provided advice and counseling for all compliance regulations. Assisted in new employee orientation training modules. Compiled, analyzed, interpreted, and reported accidents. Reviewed and documented property and injury reports to give to management as well as our clients. Responsible for assisting with some administration of worker’s compensation program. Developed, implemented and helped maintain the safety policy handbook and site-specific policies that are required by the clients. Monitored, revised, and implemented ongoing updates in safety regulations, laws or reporting requirements. Responsible for purchasing of all safety supplies, products or training items required for PPE. I was a self-starter yet able to take orders as directed, as well as other duties as assigned.
