In this role I serve as a central advisor for undergraduates and alumni interested in pursuing a health profession. This guidance begins upon entry to the College or when a student first expresses interest, and continues on through their matriculation to a health professions graduate program. Together with the Director, I serve as the primary contact for roughly half of Harvard's premedical and pre-health population. As Assistant Director, I focus on improving communication efforts to our student body, collaborating with House staff to support Premedical Tutors and train Academic Coordinators on Committee Letter logistics, running first-year "Navigating Pre-Health" curriculum, overseeing our Pre-Health Peer Liaison program, opportunity creation in the realm of internships and volunteering, and bolstering support for our smaller pre-health populations.

Counsel pre health and pre med undergraduate students and alumni on their pathway to application and acceptance into a program.Provide feedback on application materials and participate in mock interviews to allow students to gauge their performance.Plan and present monthly workshops for current applicants.

Supervise a residential area of campus consisting of three residence halls with a total population of over 300 students.Supervise ten Resident Assistants divided among the three residence halls.Serve on the on-call duty rotation for the campus.Advise the Resident Assistant Council.Manage the petty cash system for the Residential Life programming budget.Oversee the Staff Development opportunities for the office by promoting regional conference attendance, planning off campus trips, and organizing all recognition efforts.Plan all in-service training sessions for RA staff.

Acted as a tutor for students in the subjects of English and Spanish, as well as organization and study habits.Worked with a diverse group of international students to improve English writing skills, including in-class tutoring.Assisted students on academic probation in the planning and monitoring of their academic plan.Planned and supervised a book club component for seven students for a first-year English course.

Built community in a first-year residence hall, supervised three Community Assistants, and served on the on-call duty rotation for the campus.Co-advised the Residence Hall Association.Served on the ORL Programming Committee.
