I am a social media and digital content specialist with more than a decade of experience working in the broadcast, online media and entertainment industries for brands and organisations including ITN, Global Radio (Heart, Capital, LBC), Working Title Films and Universal Pictures.I am currently the freelance Digital Content Manager for Working Title Films, taking care of content and strategy for their website and official social media channels. Prior to this I was the Digital Content and Social Media Manager at Redberry Digital, an agency providing digital engagement solutions to the film, entertainment, leisure and retail industries. I was initially recruited for this role in order to launch and manage Working Title Films' social media presence and re-launch their existing website.In addition to this I have worked across a number of projects for Universal Pictures International and 20th Century Fox - providing creative direction, content development and localisation co-ordination across social assets, websites, games and mobile apps.Previously I have worked for ITN as a freelance video producer and broadcast journalist. Writing, presenting and producing stories for their popular YouTube channels and providing a video news feed to clients including The Guardian and Mail Online. This role also involved social media post production to support the video content on Facebook and Twitter.Prior to this I spent many years working in radio, reading the breakfast news on Heart FM in Sussex and Surrey and acting as online and social media champion for Global Radio newsrooms across the south east - providing CMS and social media training to news teams.In 2007, at the very start of my career I was named Newcomer of the Year at the EDF Energy Media Awards while working as a reporter for Southern FM in Brighton.
