Working as part of an integrated, global, Performance & Development team, my role oversees the management of existing; and identification and implementation of emerging; learning technologies to facilitate learning and development that in turn enhance performance.Creating innovative training solutions that address a spectrum of development needs from teaching and guiding new starters in the world of recruitment through to inspiring leaders to develop and implement transformative practices. Driving a strategy that encourages lifelong learning, through a culture of self-directed, autonomous people development. Achieved via the production and delivery of impactful, blended, modular based virtual classroom offerings, supported by the development of elearning content and the curation of learning resources.- Utilising technology to provide learning at the point of need, within the flow of work- Ongoing development and increasing engagement of our global LMS- Distil key knowledge, practices, strategy and methodology into accessible, modular based, learning content aimed at encouraging development as an everyday activity for everyone throughout the business- Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels across the business to understand critical dependencies and provide impactful learning interventions / solutions- Aligning development and more specifically performance outcomes to overall business strategy- Managing relationships with external suppliers that enable desired outcomes to be achieved

My role as an L&D Consultant spans a number of diverse recruitment businesses in Impellam's ‘Specialist Staffing’ division encompassing Tate, Chadwick Nott, Career Teachers, Celsian Education, Lorien, SRG and Guidant Group. These brands cover various sectors across the UK such as Financial, Commercial, Sales and Marketing, Legal, Education, IT, Scientific and RPO.Responsible for creating, delivering and reviewing an L&D plan that creates a culture of learning and improved performance at all levels, specifically to new starters in their first year in the role that also dovetails with the organisations people plan and assists in the overall delivery of business goals.- Delivering ‘open access’ Induction courses for all brands, to train and develop new Consultants in the business to an advanced level - Responsible for Systems training including in-house databases and payroll systems- Focusing on Consultant development to help drive performance- Working with each brand on their own unique development needed - Working with the businesses to help people achieve their REC CertRP
