CurrentDirect finance, accounting, internal controls, and auditing operations for UPMC Visiting Nurses Association, with P&L accountability. Plan and direct internal and external audits. Manage activities of financial analysts.* Managed team in success of two consecutive major business acquisitions with stellar leadership in assessments, valuations, collaboration, and reporting. Organized alliance with clinical side of agency for strategizing its need to accomplish and integrate acquisitions.* Steered business/financial integration of home health agency estimated to realize $400K in new annual revenue from market expansion. Planned/Managed financial integration; financial software conversion, policies/procedures training, and budget implementation.* Initiated program of vendor review, projected to realize $285K in annual cost savings through streamlining of supplier base and contract renegotiations.* Coordinate financial activity and special projects with UPMC Health System Business/Finance departments; Compliance/Internal Audit, Supply Chain Management, Finance, AP, Tax, Treasury, Fixed Assets, Payroll, HR and IT.* Ensure regulatory compliance with accountabilities; annual Medicare cost reports.
