Primary responsibilities included providing design advice, analysis and support to the re-engineering of an existing data mart (data analysis repository) for the Small Business Banking (SBB) department. The role included gathering requirements from stakeholders and getting buy in while ensuring that any new requirements would be aligned with our existing infrastructure’s capabilities. Managed and led the re-design initiative for the SBB data mart which resulted in faster, more efficient queries that reduced time and provided increased capabilities to produce insights and metrics for an audience that spanned executive as well as operations managers. Leveraging an extensive experience with data management and quality initiatives, the new data elements that were included in the SBB data mart were carefully imported into the new environment with the appropriate controls that provided consistency and maintained the integrity of the data leading to dependability for the business. Completed gap analysis and system requirements documentation to support the M3 migration project of all Personal and Small Business reporting from the existing data infrastructure to a new normalized DataMart with analysis services, improving performance, reducing duplication and also the decommissioning of several reports which cut server costs. Provided ad-hoc analysis, reporting and insight based on Business Data to various organizations within the bank to support productivity and business results.

- Created extensive T-SQL code to automate high volume complex ETL processes which transfers company data between database systems contributing to the development of the Global Hub, which processes member, claim and provider data- Developed and applied the standards of master data management by creating a master provider relational database for all our raw client data by removing duplicates, standardizing data, and incorporating rules to eliminate incorrect data from entering the system in order to create an authoritative source of master data- Worked closely with the business analysts by developing recommendations & drawing conclusions when creating new BRDs (business requirements and modifications) to improve data processes and workflows- Created a claim archive database using automated stored procedures to move large amounts of company claims data to a duplicate database to improve claim repricing and overall internal claim search.- Using automated SSIS packages created weekly member reports (adds, changes, deletes, orphaned) for account managers in business meetings.- Created ad-hoc claim reports (summary, geographical, date) for the sales team tog give them up-to-date information for business meetings with new and current clients.- Supported the DBA, including monitoring and maintaining system security and database support including adding user permissions, automating jobs, deleting log files, backups and restoration.- Worked with an offshore team in India for quality assurance and automated processes.

- Created T-SQL code to manipulate data into a consistent and uniform format which included the creation and maintenance of an external online provider database used by customers for travel emergency lookup- Manipulated and loaded sensitive raw client information into internal provider databases which contains all the company’s client raw data used for repricing claims.- Managed incoming client data to ensure the quality and thoroughness of customer health data, and liaised with clients to resolve data related issues and proactively developed solutions to meet their needs.- Communicate, Conceptualize and interpret the data status and issues to internal teams.
