-Spearhead marketing efforts for The Lodge at Chaa Creek, The Spa at Chaa Creek, The Macal River Camp, and The Guava Limb Cafe at both local and international levels.-Research, decide and prepare for travel trade shows, complete with marketing collaterals and presentation.-Monitor and A/B test on website for conversion optimization, SEO performance -Respond to media leads and liaise with travel writers; answer travel writers’ requests for information.-Design and coordinate the printing of ads, brochures, menus, magazines, and email newsletters, using Adobe PhotoShop/Illustrator or InDesign.-Apply for awards on behalf of Chaa Creek Ltd. -Coordinate and oversee all changes and additions to the website www.chaacreek.com, The Spa at Chaa Creek (www.belizespa.com) and The Macal River Camp (www.belizecamp.com).-Coordinate and edit/curate travel related blogs to the Belize Travel Blog (http://belize-travel-blog.chaacreek.com) as part of a content marketing strategy -Write and/or edit Media Releases and send to local and international media contacts and travel agents.-Prepare and issue Chaa Creek email newsletter, to include developing and writing content, layout and design.-Issue authorization for gift certificates for fundraisers, auctions, tradeshows, and door prizes.-Review media alerts and respond where appropriate to requests for information and photos.-Review magazines for advertising potential and leads for new promotional avenues. Request rates when appropriate. Send introductory information to travel agents and wholesalers we have not done business with before.-Keep an up-to-date library of Chaa Creek's photographs and ensure an adequate inventory of Photo CDs, slides, videos, and other promotional materials are on-hand to distribute when needed to meet the requests of travel agents, travel writers, etc.-Send requested information (brochures, photos, slides, editorial, etc.) to travel agents so they can effectively promote Chaa Creek.
