I was hired as the first TPM at Squarespace, and helped build out the Technical Program Management organization, which is now 22 members strong, and continues to grow. I led the Product Engineering TPM team for about two years, which focused on supporting the Product Engineering, Internal Engineering, and Security organizations within Squarespace. I have since moved back to a senior individual contributor role, taking on ownership of both our Internationalization and Data Privacy programs. My team's mission is to: implement scalable processes & best practices, coordinate and drive large-scale cross-functional projects, and increase communication and transparency throughout the company. In doing this, our overarching goals are to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and happiness for all employees by enabling them to do their jobs to the best of their abilities with as little friction as possible, and to provide leadership with the insight they need to effectively run the company.

Responsibilities included leveraging my Agile and project management expertise to support both long-running cross-functional engineering teams and project-specific teams in any way necessary. My overarching goals with all teams and projects were to help engineers function as efficiently as possible, to foster transparency and communication, to deliver quality results on time, and to create an environment that helped everyone do their jobs to the best of their abilities while also enjoying their time at work as much as possible. I routinely worked with multiple teams and cross-functional projects while concurrently pursuing my own professional development goals. I also helped the executive team manage AppNexus' annual and quarterly strategic planning, and contributed to planning and managing the integration of Open AdStream's engineering group into AppNexus following our acquisition of the company from WPP in late 2014. Additional responsibilities included developing training materials and delivering seminars to other teams/groups/offices on both Agile methodologies and JIRA usage, and interviewing candidates for the Agile Project Management Team.

Owned VIP customer accounts, including Omega Watches (Swatch) and Gorgio Armani, coordinated large-scale installation projects, oversaw marketing campaigns, and headed up business development initiatives.

Assisted in nearly every facet of a music/media aggregation platform startup, including but not limited to: writing FSDs, designing UX flow, assisting with algorithm logic, planning site SEO and SEM, selecting and reaching out to partners, managing social media marketing campaigns, pursuing investment, content development, business plan creation, managing contractors, etc.
