The efforts of my previous role at the Bank resulted in an offer to take the role of Lead Securent Engineer for the Enterprise. In this role I am to: - Evangalize - Architect & Design - Build - Roll-out - Supporta high availability Enterprise Wide CISCO SECURENT solution for Bank of America.The initial specification is to put in place a production pilot in early 2008 serving 5,000 users and to support 300,000 users by the end of 2008. In 2009 we will target close to one million users, and the ultimate goal would be to provide authorization services for the same twenty million users they are currently providing authentication services for.

Responsible for building out a support and operations team for the Global Structured Products Technology team. This involved a number of technologies, to include: - Network Storage - Application Servers - Web Servers - Centralized Authorization ManagementThe role morphed into a focus on the adoption of Securent as our central Authorization service across the Business Technology Group. Resulting in leading the charge by Architecting, Engineering, and Supporting the Securent Infrastructure while serving as the Product Evangelist for the organization.

Coordinated global training program for approximately 80 associates and contractors around the globe.-> Communication Improvement: Implemented monthly regional meeting via videoconference and encouraged use of shared folders via exchange for information sharing. Strengthened lines of communication, decreased duplication of effort, and increased efficient use of resources. Realized an overall boost in morale as more information was made available to associates.-> Global Training: Developed and administered global training plan, consisting of guidelines and procedures to forecast planning requirements on monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

Recruited, hired, and managed engineering team consisting of 11 associates and three consultants, setting tactical and strategic direction. Maintained thought leadership and evaluated, tested, and recommended products, engineering products to be supportable and available within global IT infrastructure. Provided third level support for all systems rolled into production. Handled all business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) architecture, design, and development for Arch Communications.Implemented and enforced use of unified modeling methodologies for all web application design and development. Interfaced with stakeholders, gathering requirements and managing full life cycle of all eCommerce projects and disparate Intranet applications. Developed and propagated in-house best practice techniques in XML, JavaScript, ColdFusion, VBScript, Perl and SQL. Designed eCommerce data models and disparate Intranet application data models. I did some pretty awesome things, went to war, got some PTSD and 60% disabled, came home, got some awards, and then got out.
