Executive team member for 15 years helping to steer the company through three reinventions of itself in the software industry - from packaged, retail software for desktops to connected PDAs to smartphones and tablets. DataViz grew 20x in this timeframe.Drove and executed virtually all of DataViz's inbound and outbound licensing strategy for all product lines by initiating and growing strategic and co-marketing partnerships. Utilized product and business expertise to create, build and expand the company’s technology partnerships with key mobile industry leaders including Research in Motion (RIM/Blackberry), Motorola, Apple, Palm, Microsoft, Nokia and Samsung. As a direct result, DataViz software came bundled on well over 100 million devices, which fed a very healthy after-market business. The RIM/Blackberry business relationship led to a significant asset acquisition deal for DataViz in July 2010.Spearheaded the company's entrance into the iPhone/iPad economy where "Documents To Go" quickly became an overall top 10 grossing app in the, then, 200k title App Store. Initiated the company's original web presence and development of its first internet software product, Web Buddy.Working through the years with external counsel on a myriad of contracts, licenses, trademarks and NDAs, served as DataViz's unofficial “paralegal”.Started career at DataViz as a Sales and Technical Support representative, learning the product and software marketing business from the ground up.
