As a Transformation Associate at Accordion, I have partnered with management and sponsors of private equity backed companies to improve liquidity and working capital.

The crisis staffing industry enables companies to maintain business operations during uncertain times. Huffmaster Companies assist with shortages in the Healthcare and Industrial markets by providing additional personnel to handle unanticipated needs.In the role of VP, I was able to impact multiple functional areas such as Marketing, IT, and Operations while continuing to build the company culture and brand. As a leader, my proudest moments include being able to level up staff into management or director roles and see them develop their teams. As a Marketing Strategist, I was able to contribute to our brand identity and business efficiency through the creation of a new website launch. The newly integrated website increased sales leads, boosted web traffic, reached more staffing applicants, and improved SEO rankings. My natural tendency to see opportunities for improvement led me to build multiple marketing campaigns, operational efficiencies, and enhance the safety and functionality of our IT systems.

As the Director of Special Projects, I became a specialist in finding opportunities and a generalist in applying these innovations across the company. I worked with the Board of Directors to identify the most critical areas of need and then designed and implemented solutions to address them.I became immersed in each department to learn what issues they were facing. Then I’d help them analyze the big picture and design solutions that would positively impact multiple departments. My mission was to increase professionalism and efficiency company-wide. Some of my projects included standards of accountability, revamping annual planning, and updating the Marketing Plan format by implementing an Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). It felt energizing to be able to impact the organization and see the ripple effect of the improvements.

The position of Marketing Coordinator introduced me to the power of marketing strategies and launched my passion in the field. What initiated my interest was the opportunity to oversee rebranding efforts for whole company. This included designing multiple unifying logos for each division, building a new website homepage portal that linked to individual websites for each division, and updating of all print and digital marketing materials. In addition, I was involved with creating and implementing marketing strategies and tactics for eight divisions. Through this, I learned how to manage marketing plans for multiple divisions and how to effectively work with and communicate with each divisions leader to set proper expectations and deliver on goals. This allowed me to see how the details of each division’s plan rolled up to the company level.

Because I raced cars professionally for 3 years, the logical career was to become the Track Manager and Chief Race Instructor. This job gave me my first insights into managing a business and the importance of marketing to its success. I operated the racing school, organized corporate events, and managed a staff that could run national karting events with over 500 racers. What I enjoyed was working with the community to promote events outside of the normal race weekends. I added events to our calendar such as the Spring and Summer Sprints that brought in additional revenues on weekends that historically had none. It was great to be involved in a sport that I loved. This experience gave me a launching pad for my future marketing career.
