Ever since, I've been fascinated by the ways technology can improve people's lives. Through a tech industry career focused on marketing, communications, and social media, I've helped create products and tell stories that harness the transformational power of tech. In my role at T-Mobile as Director of External Executive Brand, Social, and Thought Leadership, I lead a team that helps senior leaders tell the company’s story through a personal lens.Prior to that, I led communications for Microsoft's US Subsidiary, the sales and marketing arm of Microsoft in the US. I worked with our executives and customers to tell stories of Microsoft's mission: Empowering people and organizations to achieve more.I launched the Microsoft brand social media channels on LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram and led the team behind them. I also advised Microsoft executives on how their social media presence could help tell the company’s story through a personal lens. In my 8 years in the role, Microsoft brand social media channels grew from 150,000 to 30 million followers worldwide, and Microsoft was named the most influential global brand on social by Lithium Technologies. I'm originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and continue to suffer as a fan of that city’s sports teams.
