The central theme of my career is business development. It began as an intrapreneur at Royal Ahrend, where I introduced the first lease program in the office furniture sector, and at ABN AMRO Bank, where I launched the first global online transaction and research distribution platform.Subsequently, I founded Total Solutions in Amsterdam and the Middle East. These companies were successfully grown to dominance and maturity before being exited. In 2018, I co-founded USportfor and took on the role of CFO.USportfor is a sportstech company that leverages artificial intelligence to operate cameras for recording sports games to enhance fan engagement, improve performance, and build player portfolios. In 2024, USportfor merged with Inmotio and 360SI to form USF.Sport, the leading sportstech company in the Benelux. Our clients range from the top of the UK Premier League, the Dutch Eredivisie and various sports unions to the grassroots clubs. Following this merger, I transitioned to a non-executive position.My passion lies in ultra marathon running, which are all races exceeding marathon distances. Ultra running parallels entrepreneurship as it demands thorough preparation, strategic planning, and the cultivation of the right atmosphere for mental resilience.
