This position involves multiple roles relating to 24/7 Network Operations support; in which, I troubleshoot and assist small to large companies globally, over T-Mobile’s public IP (Legacy Sprintlink) and MPLS network cloud. My daily responsibilities include troubleshooting and post activations support of IP, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, Frame-Relay, ATM and DNS. I have worked various issues ranging from simple physical layer problems, to complex issues including latency, asymmetric routing and other logical layer issues. I work with most common WAN connections including T1/E1, DS3/E3, OC12 and all current flavors of Ethernet, up to 10Gig Fast Ethernet. I also have experince on Cisco IOS GS, IOS XR, SAOS and Junos OS Software. Our customers include many Fortune 500 companies and I work daily with Local Exchange Carriers, Network Operations Centers (Worldwide), and T-Mobile Technicians/Engineers to ensure quick resolution of problems and minimum duration of all outages. I have extensive experience with various Cisco and Juniper hardware including Cisco's ASR9K Series, Cisco CRS (Carrier Routing System), Cisco XR 12000 Series, Juniper's MX-Series, Juniper NetScreen 5200 and the range of customer connected devices including popular Cisco ISR Series and earlier generations. Software that I supported included Aloha POS Version 6.1.5 Supersite (and preceding releases), WinDSS, ProHost and related plug-ins.
