During the 2010 Winter Olympics I worked in media relations at a busy downtown Vancouver ice rink at the Winter Olympics. I managed requests from international TV crews as well as liaising with journalists from national and international media sources on a daily basis.

As a junior reporter my first role was as the sole journalist on the start-up edition of the Cotswolds Observer.
