About Robin Arnitz
For almost a decade, I have been exploring themes of power struggles, gender, and expressive mark-making through painting. My work has shown in cities and towns nationally including Detroit, Washington DC, Baltimore, Chicago, and Seattle. I'm in Shift Gallery. My work has also been featured in publications including New American Paintings and in the Art21 blog, Praxis Makes Perfect. In 2010 I earned my MFA in painting from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan where I was awarded a Merit Scholarship. Now I live and work in Seattle and teach art history, art appreciation, and various studio classes.
