Sustainable Energy Engineering at KTHThe curricula for the five study profiles – Sustainable Power Generation, Sustainable Energy Utilisation, Transformation of Energy Systems, Turbomachinery and Solar Energy – are marked by an intensive introductory period followed by broad-based coursework giving participants a solid foundation for the particular study track. Advanced methods are applied to identify, describe, quantify and find solutions to a diverse range of energy engineering problems.Students gain proficiency in project design and implementation, operation and maintenance, as well as in crucial phases of policy generation. The programme also offers substantial coursework within a research environment.The Degree Programme in Energy and Environment comprises 300 higher education credits, which corresponds to 5 years of full-time studies at a normal study pace (10 semesters).Language of instructionThe language of instruction for the first three years of first cycle is mainly Swedish, but the language of instruction in the second cycle for the final two years is mostly English.
