My workshop, titled, (what else?) “Energy Matters!” combines my 30+ years as a leader in education and nonprofits so your team experiences a dynamic and high energy workshop customized and targeted to your specific vision and goals. We’ll discuss energy and matter in scientific terms and then dissect why energy matters in your life and your classroom. It’s a great way to kick off your new school year or inject some energy mid year. LEARNING KITS: Opportunities abound, and the afterschool space is no exception. That is why I created The Learning Ring system, a 180-day standards-based early childhood kit that is easy to implement in any afterschool program, and when completed, covers every standard for math, science, ELA, and social studies. Packed in a super cool retro metal lunchbox and full of materials, it’s the perfect solution to increase instructional time and improve student outcomes. YOU’RE A MONEY MAGNET: My newest program is called Zero to Hero and it was developed because people kept asking how I manage to attract so much abundance in the nonprofit world where most feel lack and scarcity. I enjoyed every minute of being involved in a successful capital campaign and creating interactive exhibit spaces for families.In 2009 I joined the new team at CML to create and facilitate a successful camp program and field trip curriculum for grades PreK-5.
