About Robin Boyd
I have 20+ year background in Contracting, legal reviews of contracts, and HR that span construction, insurance, healthcare, & environmental industries. I love to help people solve problems. I am a tenacious researcher. One example of my fierce determination is one in which I helped my father. He changed his phone carrier years ago because they promised him it would be cheaper and that he would be able to retain his two numbers. Keeping his two numbers was critical to him as he has run a very successful income tax business out of his home for around 45 years. When the carrier made the switch, they lost both of his numbers. He was told that there was no way that we could get the numbers back. What the companies didn’t know is that I was not going to give up until we got the lines back. After approximately 4 months of calling every person that had touched his lines (6 different phone companies), calling 20+ people weekly to see if we were making progress on the return of the numbers, and sending countless correspondence and emails, I was able to get his two lines back for him. My organizational skills were critical for me to be able to give him a binder with all my notes, copies of correspondence, and contact information so that he could know who to contact if he had any problem in the future. All of my friends call me when they get in a bind. They have labeled me their “fire chief.” They trust me with intimate details of their lives, because they know I will always respect their privacy and keep their information safe while I help them resolve their problems. I honor and cherish them.I enjoy camping, movies, board games, Pinochle, music, traveling, quilting, working at Youth Camps, and most other forms of wholesome entertainment. In my off-time, I help senior citizens, who are still trying to live independently, with light housekeeping, errands, shopping, and transportation.
