Primary Responsibilities: Provides day-to-day oversight, or direct project management, of AmeriCorps VISTA Intermediary Supervises, assigns and oversees the work of assigned program staff; supervises, provides coaching and feedback for, and meets regularly with the VISTA Leader(s).Conducts orientation and training for host sites and VISTA site supervisors.Supports AmeriCorps VISTA members during their term of service, including review of monthly reports, approving timesheets, and addressing questions or concerns that get elevated to this role.Regularly reviews AmeriCorps VISTA program area functions and operations, identifies areas needing change, and develops recommendations to improve programs or to address areas of concern.Performs related work as assigned consistent with current duties and responsibilities. Responsible for all phases of recruitment and hiring.

Partnering with those affected by Hurricane Irma, which blew across the state of Florida in September 2017 causing catastrophic damage in many areas, to restore their living conditions to safe, secure, and sanitary. Irma left many people homeless or in housing that was deemed uninhabitable by FEMA. We help secure funding through grants and rely on volunteers to do much of the needed repairs.
