    Career Path Summary: I was originally employed as a Sales Engineer. After 6 months I was selected for a team which was starting a new division in South Africa, the Fuels & Chemicals division, 18 months later, I was promoted to manage the division with the title of Business Line Manager. I grew the division from 100 k USD per annum with 2 people to 2 m USD pa with a team of 5 people in 3 years. I was solely responsible for the management of this division; this included strategic planning, project management, sales management and income statement control. This division went on to achieve sales of 5 m USD in the next 3 years.Then I was tasked with the challenge of starting the Pall SA export division selling into Sub-Saharan Africa. This involved travel to third world countries, selling to our Key Customers, finding and managing local partners for all divisions of Pall Corporation. I laid the foundation for what is now a very lucrative business for Pall and worth more than 3 m USD.In 2002 our CEO needed an experienced person to reorganize and manage our Technical Division. I took on this challenge with the Title, Chief Technical Officer and focused the 13 members of the team on sales growth and sales support. This was a big step forward for this very technical group in a sales oriented company.The Food & Beverage division had started to decline in sales. Profit and market share. In 2003 our CEO appointed me to Chief Sales Officer for the Food & Beverage division with the goal of turning around this business unit. For 3 years I managed the sales, projections, profit and income statement for the business. I was responsible for the business strategy, hiring and termination of personnel and marketing for my division. I turned the division's negative growth into a very positive 15% year on year and with a profitability of around 10% net before tax.
