Robin Brooks is an Executive and Entrepreneur skilled in transforming early stage and growth-focused companies in various phases of their company life cycle into highly profitable business.As an independent consultant and business advisor, Robin is passionate about creating value for her clients. Robin partners with family offices, private equity groups, and entrepreneurs to transition and transform private companies, including emerging, profitable and distressed businesses in the consumer products and food service segments. After spending nearly two decades working in mergers and acquisition, debt restructuring and corporate finance for Deloitte & Touche, Arthur D. Little and General Electric, she became CEO of her family-owned business where she led the successful negotiation and acquisition of 2 business units, oversaw manufacturing plants to implement a business growth strategy to generate a 3-fold increase in revenue.Robin has served on several boards including Smith College and Women’s Foodservice Forum, which named her Entrepreneur of the year in 2003. Her leadership abilities have been recognized with the Northern Virginia Urban League’s Excellence in Leadership award in April 2009 and with Ernst & Young’s Virginia Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2001. Robin holds a BA in Economics from Smith College and a Masters of Management in Finance and Economics from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management.
