Community Outreach Coordinator
CurrentWorking as a Community Outreach I can bring "Circus" to everyone. I am responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with various community groups, organizations, and stakeholders on behalf of this non-profit agency. I work to engage with individuals and groups in the community, promote Green Fool's mission and services, and build awareness and support for its programs and initiatives. Whether it is our Social Circus Program that is designed to be inclusive and accessible to all young people. Green Fools truly believes in the magic of play and wants to offer EVERY child the opportunity to participate in our circus classes. This opportunity is specifically for at-risk, and in-need youth and families who would benefit from the social aspects of the program as well as someone who is financially in need and would not otherwise be able to access this type of programming. We also have school programs, corporate events, touring camps, Studio G classes, and entertainment programs including stilt walkers, puppetry, clowns, magicians, and aerial artists. Whether it's a Green Fools develops, creates, teaches, and promotes the arts of mask, puppetry, circus, clown, and physical theatre. We create socially empowering work with our theatre creations, we offer workshops to schools and community organizations, and we provide free Social Circus outreach programs for at-risk, indigenous, new immigrant, and refugee youth. We aspire to be a supportive, productive environment in which diverse children, artists, audiences, and participants can be inspired, grow, create, and evolve.www.greenfools.com
