Procurement Engineer MEP• Responsible for procuring all equipment and materials for Mechanical- HVAC, Plumbing- Water Supply & Drainage and Fire Fighting related to MEP works.• Making technical comparison according to project specifications and commercial negotiation & Finalization.• Following-up with suppliers/manufacturers to obtain order acknowledgement/ delivery confirmation/expediting delivery of materials with the help of logistics and stores for timely completion of the projects.• Responsible for allocation/transfer of stocks, conducting routine inspection to ensure reconciliation of physical stock at the warehouse.• Preparation of Price comparison sheet, Letter of intent (LOI) and Payment request.• Processing of submittals to the consultant for approval, Creating & Issuing Local Purchase Orders (LPO) and Sub-Contracts for MEP installation works using ERP software and processing the material to get deliver to the site.• Liaising with Supplier & Finance Dept. for establishing the letter of credit.• Excellent experience working in dealing with client, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities.• Evaluated suppliers to assess quality, timeliness and compliance of deliveries, maintain tight cost controls and maximize business operational efficiency.
