Project Director
CurrentPerform as the project director for client engagements; ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables, manage budgets ranging from $100K-$3M, and supervise 2 direct reports, 6-8 WestEd staff, 6 regular contributors, and 4 subcontractors. Lead and contribute to proposals for new business and participate in visibility activities such as presenting at conferences and on webinars. Author policy briefs, tools, and resources to support state and local education agencies in implementing policies and programs.▪Contributing to a literacy resource guide for the Oregon Department of Education.▪Led NY-RISE, a partnership between WestEd and the New York State Education Department, to provide professional development to New York charter schools in four content areas: board governance, special education, home-to-school connections, and financial operations. ▪Led WestEd’s work with Manhattan Strategy Group on the National Charter School Resource Center, guiding a team that delivers technical assistance and develops tools and resources for state education agencies, charter authorizers, charter management organizations, and charter support organizations. ▪Directed the development of many high-quality professional development webinars for both the NCSRC and NY-RISE, most sessions receiving satisfaction ratings of 80% or greater.
