Smile For a Lifetime is a charitable non-profit that makes it easy for orthodontists to provide pro bono services to kids in need. The program partners with orthodontic/dental providers across the US and Canada and streamline the entire administrative process; conducting community outreach and patient recruitment, fundraising, soliciting in-kind donations, collecting applications, patient fee’s (when applicable), maintaining financial records, and offering dedicated support to both the family and volunteer dental provider through every phase of the treatment.

As the Executive Director and Founder of Embracing Our Warriors, I played a pivotal role in the charity's inception, legal establishment, and comprehensive development.My responsibilities included:Legal and Compliance Leadership: Led the legal formation and compliance process, ensuring the charity met all regulatory requirements. Worked closely with legal experts to draft foundational documents, secure 501(c)(3) status, and establish a robust governance structure.Program Development and Implementation: I conceptualized and designed the full program to provide free orthodontic treatment to veterans with service-related disabilities and their families. I also developed and implemented operational strategies to ensure seamless service delivery, from application processing to treatment coordination.Strategic Vision and Growth: Set the strategic direction for the organization, focusing on expanding our reach and impact. Created partnerships with orthodontists, dental companies, and other stakeholders to enhance program offerings and ensure sustainability.Operational Oversight: Managed day-to-day operations, including fundraising, donor relations, volunteer recruitment, and community outreach. Oversaw financial management, ensuring transparency and efficiency in the allocation of resources.Board of Directors Development: Spearheaded the development of a diverse and skilled Board of Directors, ensuring a well-rounded governance team.
