Aquisition And Assistant Specialist Iii
CurrentResponsible for managing the procurement portfolio of a large program missions. Performs independently in a program requiring complicated and sensitive contracting operations. Processes complex, multi-million dollar contracts, grants and cooperative agreements, contractor/grantee having two or more subcontractors/sub-grantees and requiring substantial contract administration. Responsible for a broad range of highly specialized acquisition in negotiating, administering, and modifying various types of contracts for the acquisition of services, equipment, supplies, materials, and other needs for projects having a strong contracting orientation. While not a warranted Contracting/Agreement Officer, develops specialized procurement knowledge by completing 75% of the training course requirements necessary for USAID Contracting/Agreement Officers warranted at the $1,000,000 level.
