This non profit was formed in response to the severe shortage of professionals dedicated to the overall health and specifically dental care of the "voiceless", the mentally and developmentally challenged and impaired who are 100% disabled from birth or before the age of 18. Even though the departments of mental health in each state cover institutionalized patients, and a large percentage of those in group homes, the backlog of unseen patients in each state is staggering. There are 6000 on the waiting list in Tennessee alone. All donations will go to the care of these patients who are not covered by any state or federal funding, and whose families cannot afford dental care for them. Go the website periodically and donate!! We are "Voices for the Voiceless".
