TPS specializes in Japanese to English translation for the telecommunications, software, and computer fields, with a 50-year business history. Proofing and content writing of Hitachi-produced data storage and telecommunication systems (primarily), with other projects commissioned by Canon, Nikon, Fujitsu, Renesas, Omron (medical), to name a few. Larger projects are typically handled in Trados (2019), occasionally Oxygen, along with the usual suspects (Microsoft W, E, and PP). I frequently meet with our translators to discuss the finer points of work material.Early 2015 marked the launch of an entirely revamped TPS website in English, the text content of which is largely my own creation, and showcases a less technical and more generalized writing style (see the link provided above).
