I am a Texan with an opinion. I believe that all people should have the right to be free and make their own decisions. I believe that there is a place for governance and rules, but they should not over come freedom of speech, being treated fairly and equally in court, and most of all the freedom to make choices for myself (without the big brother "The Federal Government" watching over our shoulders). That is why I appreciate Zany's method of management. They encourage self-thought, independence and free speech. Zany respects the individual as an important unit of the team. It is not all about the team but also the people involved in the team at a personal level. When I was teaching, the school required us to have team building exercises and team projects. There always seemed to a natural leader in every group, but all, or most of the work, fell on that individual's shoulder. Yet the whole team received the reward when the project was finished. I could never understand how we could reward, equally, the student that did almost all the work and the one who did almost nothing. This happens everywhere.Zany promotes what I believe in and therefore I am committed and loyal to them. It's all about giving 100% of yourself to what is important to you. To me it is my faith, family and friends.
