I have been an Occupational Therapist for 27 years working in a number of settings focusing on the adult population working with various diagnoses including CVA, COPD, MVA, ESRD, DM1, DM2, neurological diagnoses, cancer, dementia, cardiac, spinal laminectomies and other orthopedic conditions. Pediatric populations with orthopedic conditions. I performed evaluations, reassessments,adaptive equipment recommendations and training, treatment planning and implementation progress documentation hand splint fabrication, discharge planning and education of patients and family. I am a Certified Fall prevention Specialist (CFPS), an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. This will enable me to focus on educating clients on prevention strategies, exercise, safety and wellness.
