Microwave and sub-millimetre scientist with a PhD in microwave remote sensing. Main interests are atmospheric radiative transfer and satellite-borne passive microwave and radar sensors, with a focus on applications in meteorology and climate research.Currently working for EUMETSAT developing satellite products for the upcoming Ice Cloud Imager (ICI) and Microwave Imager (MWI) instruments aboard the upcoming second generation of MetOp satellites (MetOp-SG).Modelled during PhD the electromagnetic scattering of atmospheric ice particles at microwave and sub-millimetre wavelengths. Furthermore, successfully setup and maintained large scale simulations in a large scale high performance computation environment (in the framework of SNIC, Swedish National Infrastructure for Computing).Used to collaborate in international environments and have experience in data analysis, scientific programming and multiple programming languages including MATLAB, Python and Fortran90.
