Account Manager - facilitate a close liaison with internal and external customers, representing the interests of the customer within the printing industry. Train, mentor and coach account management team on communication, processes, production, scheduling and delivery. Initiate planning for future workflow. Maintain and grow current relationships with customers through daily communication and customer visits.Skill set - Extensive knowledge of product specifications and production capabilities, related to the print industry, including the ability to provide alternative solutions to customers, when necessary.Consultative approach to client relationship and management skills; customer and client relationship focused. Experience acting as a trusted advisor for the customer.Highly-developed organizational, strategic planning, decision making, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization; ability to set and meet deadlines/expectations, manage multiple priorities/ responsibilities. Primary responsibilities; Manage trademark, assumed name and corporate entity portfolios.• Conducted preliminary trade name, domain name and trademark research; analyzed and communicated results to clients; assisted clients in meeting trade name and trademark objectives.• Coordinated with outside counsel, including preparation and filing of trademarks and subsequent steps in the trademark registration and use process; including applications, assignment and renewal.• Managed a trademark portfolio of approximately 5,000 trademarks, including domestic and foreign.• Performed docket and file maintenance; establishing a record retention system for abandoned files.• Project management team – development of docket software solution to track and manage trademark and trade name matters.
