My responsibilities at A.W.Hastings include onboarding and training all new hires, providing professional development workshops to our employees, and supporting our management team with ongoing training and development. I work closely with all hiring managers from the time a job requisition is posted on developing a training curriculum customized to the new employee and to the manager's needs. Planned, designed, and managed seasonal women's clothing lines domestically and overseas for Casual Corner, Petite Sophisticate, and August Max Woman brands. Negotiated cost, tracked order progress, and arranged shipping with domestic and import vendors. Interacted with domestic vendors in New York showrooms to review current line, design future lines, and develop yarns and textiles for innovation and creativity. Approved textile color matching to standards and managed dye-lot differentiation during distribution to stores.
